Current version of app supports komi-6.5 and KataGo-10-blocks only for simple and fast response. Guest users and logged-in users have the same access. Future versions will support more options.

This app is designed to simulate a real offline game. Not using sgf nor undo, just like a casual face-to-face offline game. The whole idea behind is to provide low-mid range users easy access to the Katago AI engine, in a friendly and relaxed environment. There aren’t many opportunities for beginners (~17+ handicaps) to play with AI and win. I hope this tool is useful to them to become mid or advanced players and enjoy the game even deeper and thrive in their lives as well.

MOVE: To make a move, click on an empty spot on the board.

PASS: To pass a move, click on a black stone on the board. (black on black, that is a turn with no-effect.)

RESIGN: To resign a game, click on a white stone. (just like in real games, commit an illegal move for example putting two stones. Attempting to replace a white stone with a black is an illegal move. Upon confirmation, the game will end.)

It is recommended to play until the last dame (neutral point) before you pass, just as you would do in a real game, to get an accurate score.
